And well done lance for seriously giving it a go, your run across scared the life out of me.

I feel like i've been hit by a truck, well done to anyone who braved it today.
So hard to get a good 10s with such vicious gusts. not sure if fun is a word i'd use to discribe today but hey happy with the max. It just goes to show how hard portland can be, will we ever get a 40k average here............yes.

Updated.
Absolute awesome effort from Kev ,Nick, and Si and all the others who managed today unlike me!
Total respect to you all, those conditions definately showed who
the men are well done, the averages deserve a lot more and dont tell
the whole story at all.
And well done lance for seriously giving it a go, your run back
across scared the life out of me along with kevs spell out by the wall
and si p's try at getting back. Not nice.
Some pbs in those conditions aswell (jim,si,lance etc.)so look out
when its a bit more favourable or you get to sail somewhere quick!
Anyway top effort you all.

sat in the van to wait for it to drop but it stayed up all day .i dont think i have ever seen it that windy in the harbour! well done to kev si jim nick they just kept going .Good to see lance this way and hope to see him again when winds are more moderate

Very enjoyable sail but very gusty so couldn't really relax on a run. The wind was a bit square.
