Quite interesting day today. First test with the 6.9 and figured out quite fast that I had’nt a mast extension that was long enough ??

Thanks to Fabbie a could test the sail although I was doubting it was gonna be to much and indeed after my 2 fastest runs I had to change to the smaller size. Same procedure meaning new sail out of the bag (incredible easy rigging) and gooooo. Guess what happened?  The wind dropped!! So yes it remains a kutspot and I will keep saying it.

After a while the wind came back a bit and I managed to get some more decent runs and could improve my @ to 46.69! Happy on that one!

When I was home I took the 2 little bags with the extra cambers out to put them far away but opened one anyway (don't know why) and I noticed that where RDM cambers !!!!

So I sailed all day with sdm cambers in my 6.3 and in my 6.9 ??????

That was why the rotation was so goed I suppose lol!

I’ll change them next time but they looked pretty well already I have to say.

Online the 6,9 felt a little heavy, perhaps because of the short mast 430. Anyone sailing the 6,9 on a 460 rdm mast or a combination of masts?

I had no troubles on planing all day. I had no stops what so ever so not bad for Zonnemarie after all. The 54 speed is a great toy!

Ps: Apparently several data like my @ are not correct, or the GPS failed or the data transfer. My watch says 46,69 meaning a loss of 1.2 km.. how can that happen?

Second session of the day. Arrived late compared to everyone else. Nice smooth sailing close to the dam.

Injured my knee during yesterdays session so had to take it easy. Happy I was able to sail at all though.

Happy that I had a go. Travel to the spot was a bit a headache by road and tunnel closures:(

Nice session. Started on the JP speed 50, later on moved to the outerdams on the Manta 61.
