Really nice session!! It was very crowded today. After a couple of runs, Raymond an I decided to check out a new place a little further up the lake. After a chicken run to check the dept, all looked good and I went for it. Its a nice feeling to discover a new place and see that it works on the first run.

It didn't take long before Kes, Twan and Dirk joined us and we got some proper gusts. Twan did a sick 91 on his 6.2 and I was pretty happy with 83 on my 50wide with 6.3. Other than that, my speeds were not that good today but I had a lot of fun. Very happy for Ray, who finally had a good session without a painful foot and a 2sec of 81! Well done mate!

Remco was less lucky, smashing his fin on a shallow part and cutting his hand. He Rambo'd on with a bleeding finger until he bled out and had to go back:p

Cycling with Rolf in the pooring rain and wind, didn't they predict sun?

Couple of runs with LHF, but the fin was big.

Rolf and I decided to do a road trip to the outer banks on the IJsselmeer. Fun! with a 50cm speedboard trough the 1m waves and a serious shore break.

But arrived at the new spot and it was good!

Couple of really shallow parts but managed to stay clear as I didn't want to hurt my ankle.

Altough it seems I posted just the regular gear, the board and fin are brand new ;)

Heerlijk gevaren, met 2 vingers in de neus (na de tijd goed ontsmet natuurlijk). Wind was was aan/uit en draaide wat. De groep surfers splitste op. De ene helft voer op de baan met rechtsvoor en de andere, waaronder ik, op de baan met linksvoor. Ben benieuwd of dat verschillen oplevert. 

Op de terugreis nog een lift gekregen in een fraaie pick-up, dat scheelde ver fietsen. Dank daarvoor. 

Dit betreft overigens de helft van de track. De andere helft hoop ik later toe te kunnen voegen. Daar zitten geen snellere runs bij. 

Mooi dagje, niet fit, daardoor een gebrek aan energie, heb er maar het beste van gemaakt.

First went into the small 'kommetje' but my 21 asy left foot front seems to be gone from the bus so had to use my 24 asy x2w which was big for the 45 but was not so windy so had nice lift.. haha When i had 80 avg there i went to the other dam to check it out, when we where there the wind increased a and could do some more runs with right foot front where my 21 is luckily still there.

lekker middagje zeg. gezellig druk, wel een kort baantje met linksvoor. ik moet volgende keer toch maar meer op Jurjen letten en hem nadoen, man wat was die snel. Om over Twan maar niet te spreken natuurlijk

echt, heerlijke middag !

Beetje ongelukkige bloederige sessie. Redelijk aan het begin waait mijn board om waarbij ik hem wil tegenhouden. De vin sneed hierbij een groot stuk van mijn vinger af. Dit bleef maar bloeden en bloeden. Ik kon hierdoor mijn giek niet meer goed vasthouden.

Sessie 58: Voor het eerst met de AV45 gevaren..! En dat is veelbelovend..! Board vaart erg gemakkelijk en ook hoogte lopen is geen uitdaging..! 5.8 was meestal iets aan de krappe kant behalve in 1 vlaag waar Jurjen en ik allebeide "in" zaten,,! Het boord loopt in de harde vlagen gecontroleerd heerlijk los, thanks a lot to AV, Surfcenter en Twan die  een rol hebben gespeeld bij het verkrijgen van dit heerlijke boardje...!
