Lastige wind richting maar toch ff lekker vanmiddag

Interesting day on the water. The inner damms were a bit up and down when we started at 09.15 so after a couple of runs we surfed to the outer damms. Angle was good and wind picked up and played along as well.

Unfortunately Floris snapped his harnass in the middle of a run resulting in a big crash, broken mast, broken board, broken boom but... his spirit and motivation still in tact!!!

We derigged the gear and took turns on my kit for the rest of the session.

Short swim session from to the southern dam after which it became clear that swimming for 1 km from Stamperplaat back to Zonnemaire would be too tricky. With the help of staatsbosbeheer (...) and the KNRM he got back to shore safely.

Thanks a lot to the guys on board. This was the forth time in three years. Once for myself after my board broke in half and three times for surfbuddies. It gives one peace of mind knowing that if things break down or you're in trouble, you're not alone in the world.

Maxed out just over 45 knots. happy with the speed on this location in these conditions.

om 8.00 met Dennis weggereden en om 9:15 op het water bij zonnemaire. 3x heen en weer gevaren op de binnnedammetes, maar dat was niks. naar de buitendammen gevaren en daar scheurt in mijn tweede run mijn trapeze kapot (ik verloor hem zelfs, hij scheurde gewoon af. later wel weer gevonden) ik val zelf achterover en vlieg als een kiezelsteentje over het water. mast gebroken, board kapot, trapeze kapot en de giekkop kapot. het was de eerste keer dat ik met die mast vaarde, jammer maar met 76 km u crashen overleven weinig masten denk ik.

tot zover de neilpryde rs6 4.6 en de jp speed 41 haha. we hebben besloten om omstebeurt 2 runs te varen op dennis zijn setje. nogmaals bedankt daarvoor, anders had ik niet kunnen varen. 

ik stond voor het eerst op die set, dus ben zeker niet ontevreden met de snelheden. op deze manier toch nog redelijk wat rakken kunnen maken, dus toch een goed ochtendje gehad. rond 13.00 met de knrm naar de kant gegaan, terugvaren was geen optie meer. De mannen van de KNRM bedankt voor de hulp!

Voor de duidelijkheid. dit materiaal is dus niet van mij en ik heb het ook al weer uit mijn items op gpsspeedsurfing verwijderd, was enkel even voor deze post.

Sessie 61; de stilte na de storm....pas om 15:30 van start gegaan met 5.7 en de 52,5 cm FF. Had voor de 6.3 moeten gaan. De wind draaide en nam snel af. Ook nog even de benedendammetjes geprobeerd maar de rolling chop maakte het voor mij niet optimaal helaas.

Toch nog even een paar uurtjes kunnen varen! De richting was niet echt ideaal ( West) je kon één ruime kant langs het dammetje. Terug was een heel ander verhaal. Daar werden alle ruggewerveltjes aardig door elkaar geschud, wat een klotsbak. Later draaide de wind verder door naar noordelijke richtingen en nam geleidelijk af. Het was weer mooi geweest!

upload met de GW 60, gemiddelde 0,15 km/uur lager, max speed 0,4 km/uur hoger en alpha hoger als op Suunto. Even vergelijken met de Suunto.
