Love these kind of session on the waddenzee. nice session in full sun and light winds. At Schiermonikoog we had good winds to be powered-up but on the way back it was minimal and with the strong current it was hard to gain hight. Luckely I could reach the car surfing without walking. 

Today an expedition to the 'Haak om Schier'. It's been quite a few years since I last went there and it's nice to change your scenery once in a while. Getting to Schiermonikoog was relatively easy, even though the wind was light. Once we reached the sandy beaches, the wind actually picked up which made for some excellent sailing in the sun. What more could you wish for?

Getting back was a bit of an issue though as the wind decided to drop. After quite a few upwind reaches I finally decided to start walking and obviously then the wind picked up again. Was quite knackered when I reached solid ground again. So worth it though! Great early summer session!
