Did not get here till 9.30am as not much wind forcast in morning. Rigged up 6.2m Evo 2 sail and new used Isonic 49 speed board and new 22.5cm wide base fin. First run was perfect and new fin and board worked very nice, but the drake adjustable straps are s***t. Had to take the part that covers the screw and leave underneath and screw though matieral to allow the inner sleeve to come out and make bigger or could not have made larger. Went out on the sea as 9.60m high tide that was over wall at 12.00pm and highest at 1.11pm with tabou Rocket 105lt and 5.5m tush bolt but wind was very light and so start stop affair untill I decided to come out and then wind started to blow, typical. So back on the pond for more runs, water was nice and flat and wind swung from broad north west to west, west south west and made for a square coarse. Not enough wind tpo go fast but ok to test new kit, changed fin to Z fin 21 right at the end and got an extra few knots of speed but that could have been the slight wind increase. Lovely warm 11-12c and sunny day. Only about 6 windsurfers out on the pond in afternoon and fair few out on the tide. A lot of walking along the wall day lol.
