First time out with this board/sail setup. Wind direction was square to the waves today so I played safe to start with and fitted a bigger fin just to make sure I was able to get through them out on the middle reef, the bigger ones were about logo high with a period of about 10sec. Some very good flat water between them if you were lucky enough to time it just as a set came through, it worked for me a few times and was especially good on the way back in, what a buzz!!!

It was a good decision with the 34 fin to start with, however, the wind filled in very quickly and I felt that I could manage with a smaller one so I changed down, I also tried another centimeter of downhaul. It finished out to be a good setup/session and made up for the lack of wind yesterday big time, although I missed out on trying Orlando's 53 speed board, I'm sure it would have worked on the inside.
